Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has been identified as the number one target for Italian Serie A club AC Milan after with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting that one of Morata and Radamel Falcao would be pursued this summer.
The 25-year old has been largely hit and grab this summer. He had been one of the best players at Chelsea at the beginning of the season, but also quickly became one of the worst in the club’s history after only two goals in the entire 2018.
Football Italia quote Gazzetta dello Sport as saying Milan are ready to sign a striker this summer and are willing to add tot heir ranks one of Morata and Falcao with the two players having the same agent.
The only possible obstacle is UEFA’s Club Financial Control Body, who might ‘throw’ AC Milan out of the Europa League next season. That would mean no European football at the San Siro and might make it impossible for the young and ambitious Morata to sign for them.
