Chelsea have found out how much they have pay to land striking target Gonzalo Higuain this summer following reports that the Blues are in for a new striker.
Alvaro Morata was brought in last summer to steady the ship for Chelsea in the just ended season, but failed to do so following his poor goal return.
The Spain striker started brilliantly for the Blues scoring in his first six games and fast becoming popular in England for his headed goals. Those goals were interpreted as having settled quickly in the country, but the goals dried up and soon, Morata was a forgotten man.
Chelsea’s chase and acquiring of Olivier Giroud in the January transfer window was by far a demonstration that the club was not content in the striking department.
That has led to rumors that the five-time Premier League champions are chasing after Higuain and with Juventus willing to listen to offers, a deal could be struck.
According to Calciomercato, Higuain can leave for €65m.
