Chelsea are looking forward to a busy summer not just on the pitch with the arranged friendlies, but also on the negotiation table as they seek to beef up their squad to compete better next season.
There have been several players linked to a Stamford Bridge arrival including Jean Michael Serri and Robert Lewandowski. Both players are not too eager to leave their respective clubs but with Chelsea in the frame as a possible destination, they are tempted.
Serri played a good season for Nice in the French Ligue 1 while drawing attention fron Barcelona, only for the move to collapse last summer. Chelsea have leapfrogged other Premier League rivals chasing after the Ivory Coast international, but the Times say he has told Chelsea chiefs to resolve their managerial uncertainties before an agreement is struck with his representatives this summer.
Lewandowski also hold same stance. The Bayern Munich striker is not ready to move to Chelsea if the future of Antonio Conte is not defined.
The Blues have been linked with Maurizio Sarri, Luis Enrique and Laurent Blanc, via the Daily Star, but no deal has been agreed with any of the managers so far.
