Chelsea can brace themselves for a double bid from Italy as clubs remain interested in signing loan star Mario Pasalic this summer according to Sport Mediaset via CalcioMercato.
The midfielder has been by far one of the best midfielders in Chelsea’s loan army and has spent time at top clubs in Europe. His stint at AC Milan in 2016/17 yielded positive results and earned him respect among other clubs in the Italian top flight including Atalanta and Fiorentina. The Viola and and Atalanta are said to be ready to give Pasalic another chance to impress in Italy.
The talented Croatia international featured prominently for Spartak Moscow last season, scoring four goals in the process and earned himself a top mention by scouts from Italy.
He is on a long term contract with Chelsea which expires in 2021 and the Blues are expected to sell rather than send him out on another temporary deal to another club but nothing is certain at this stage in the rumors.
