“Staying wouldn’t bother me” – Eden Hazard reduces Chelsea to second option when addressing transfer plans

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has reduced the Blues to second option almost significantly when addressing his trasfer plans for this summer.

Speaking with BeIN Sport via Marca, Hazard hinted of his dream to play for Real Madrid, which he describes as every player’s ‘dream’ before adding it would not ‘bother’ him to play for the Blues. That effectively means his first option will be to move from Chelsea to join the Los Blancos but in case there’s no bid made or the move falls through, he is likely to stay at Chelsea.

“I’m fine at Chelsea and, for now, nobody has presented me with an offer. It is true that [Zidane] is special, but Madrid makes everyone dream.

With or without Zidane, Madrid’s shirt is special. But I’m also doing well in blue so staying wouldn’t bother me.”

That would be no encouragement to Chelsea fans who always clamor that he stays. The devastating forward said to Sky Sports last year that he would relish playing under 1998 World Cup winner Zinedine Zidane and after the Frenchman left his role as head coach of Real, many thought Hazard’s ambition would be killed and he will no longer be motivated to leave London, but his latest words prove otherwise.
