How an Italian report sensationally reports Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Juventus depends on Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea arrival

Not many can read between the lines in transfer stories but the few who do among the media, make a great deal of money in newspaper sales and Calciomercato may have struck gold in this regard.

The Italian newspaper has connected Maurizio Sarri’s delayed arrival at Chelsea to a possible failure by Juventus to sign Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo. The Italian giants have recently been heavily linked with the Portuguese legend and Sky Sports reports he could be on his way to the Turin club this summer.

But a huge deal like that would have several complications and one of them is financial. According to Calciomercato, Juventus would have to sell one of their best players to raise the funds for Ronaldo, and Higuain seems the best bet.

Maurizio Sarri has drawn a wishlist for Chelsea when he arrives, as per Daily Mail and added the Argentina striker. If he arrives at Chelsea, the Blues may likely make a bid for Higuain and that will free up funds for Ronaldo.

The ideology here makes sense when adding up the numbers but one would feel, Juventus would have no problem signing Ronaldo and would not risk hanging their hopes on a player sale.
