Crystal Palace winger is Wilfred Zaha is reportedly desperate to join Chelsea this summer, and could go as far as putting in a transfer request to force through the move, according to the Mirror.
The Blues are after another winger to join their ranks and have identified the dazzling wide man who plies his trade in London with Palace. With the future of Eden Hazard and Willian uncertain, the Blues are hoping to bring in one forward to add to their squad in case of any immediate departures before the end of the transfer window.
In such a situation, it is unlikely the Blues will find it difficult in bringing in their man who, as per the Mirror’s report, is forcing a move out of Selhurst Park.
Zaha has had a crack at a top Premier League club once before, when he signed for Manchester United, but he failed to convince and returned to Palace. He has grown to become one of the most feared wingers in the English top flight since then, and Chelsea may give him another route to stardom.
