Chelsea winger Willian has had a lot of speculation around him this summer with several tabloids reporting that the player was on his way out of the club, particularly to Manchester United, with an eye on a reunion with Jose Mourinho.
After the 2018 World Cup in Russia, where Willian played an instrumental role in Brazil marching on to the quarter final, reports had it that he was to inform Chelsea of his desire to move this summer. Instead, three bids from Barcelona were rejected and Man United did not officially place a bid for the player who is highly regarded by Chelsea chiefs.
After starting only 17 times under Antonio Conte last season, Maurizio Sarri has had to promise more minutes to the demanding Brazil star who wants more playing time at Stamford Bridge.
According to WhoScored.com, Sarri needs to give Willian what he wants and not stick him to the bench as he is more productive when he starts games.

The stats show that Chelsea scored more goals with Willian in the starting 11 than when he’s not. Chelsea scored 1.75 goals per game with the former Shakhter Donestk forward in the starting 11 than and 1.5 when he’s not.
If Sarri wants more goals, he knows who to stick with.
