This is perhaps not the kind of transfer you may want to hear or believe at this stage in the European transfer window, especially as this particular story stems from Onda Cero from Spain, usually just a football chatterbox.
They claim Chelsea have offered Willian to Real Madrid for a staggering €80 million to buy the player this summer with an additional €10 million expected to be paid to the player’s agent. But that sounds a bit ludicrous for Chelsea to do.
A piece of transfer business that would just derail a key part of their summer effort, to keep hold of their stars at the club. Chelsea were reportedly working hard to keep their superstars at the club this summer including Willian, Eden Hazard, N’Golo Kante and Thibaut Courtois, although the latter departed to Real Madrid. Sky Sports reported that three bids from Barcelona for Willian had been rejected by Chelsea.
So why would Chelsea suddenly offer the Brazil star to Real, with the English transfer window shut so no replacement could be secured?
