Eden Hazard joins a select group of players including Frank Lampard and Peter Osgood after amazing hat-trick

When Eden Hazard scored his second goal against Cardiff last Saturday, he may not have known that he was on his way to joining a special breed of individuals to have graced the Stamford Bridge pitch.

Following that third goal via the penalty spot, Hazard has now scored five goals for Chelsea this season in the Premier League, and ultimately now has 94 goals since he signed for Chelsea in the summer of 2012.

Hazard is known for his dribbling and outstanding ability to get past his man in one-on-one situations but to add to his brilliance on the ball, Hazard has improved his goalscoring ability to now join the top 10 scorers in the history of the club.

According to Chelsea’s official website, Hazard has surpassed “Tommy Baldwin on 92, and after scoring two more he moved one ahead of Barry Bridges in the all-time chart with 94.” That now puts him on tenth on the list of all-time scorers for Chelsea.

If he continues his current form that has seen him score seven goals for club and country this season, Hazard could be in line to get to the levels of Jimmy Greaves who sits seventh on the all-time list with 132 goals.
