Chelsea might regret not giving Hudson-Odoi enough chances as German giants show interest in signing him

Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi has been lined up as one of three players that Borussia Dortmund are keeping tabs on to sign next summer to replace Jadon Sancho, should the budding star leave.

According to the Mirror, Dortmund have drawn up a list of English talents that seek to bring into their squads after the huge impression Sancho and others have made after signing from the Premier League. Hudson-Odoi, Liverpool’s 17-year-old striker, Bobby Duncan, and Manchester City’s Phil Foden are on the three-man shortlist.

They appear to be the next generation and the report by the Mirror suggests Dortmund want to make sure they capture at least one of them to replace Sancho who the club believes has got potential to be a £100m star.

Maurizio Sarri is yet to give Hudson-Odoi a chance this season despite featuring heavily in pre-season and reminding the Italian coach of his potential with superb displays.

If he leaves out of frustration, Chelsea can blame no one after all the neglect served the youngster.
