Eden Hazard is the real star at Chelsea and his performances to lift the team up from deep problems only emphasizes that according to Pedro.
The Spain international arrived at Chelsea with so much fanfare especially after he snubbed Manchester United for the blues but his stint at the club has not evoked any kind of attention that equates him to previous teammates Lionel Messi or Andres Iniesta.
Instead, Pedro has lingered in the shadows of other stars who have propelled Chelsea to great heights in the two seasons he has been in the Premier League. Several players have stepped up in different times for the Blues in recent seasons including Diego Costa, Willian, N’Golo Kante, and Marcos Alonso but one has been as consistent at Eden Hazard has been in the period.
Pedro says it is Hazard who has been the ‘star’ for his side and it pleases him when the Belgian is in top form.
“He’s the most important player here. He’s a star for us. Eden is playing very good. It’s very good news for us that he’s in very good form.”
