Details of contract revealed as Chelsea ready to offer mammoth £70m to Real Madrid to sign superstar midfielder in January

Chelsea are reportedly moving closer to a making a deal with Real Madrid over the signing of midfielder Isco in January.

The Spain international is one of the disgruntled players at the Santiago Bernabeu this season. Along with Los Blancos’ poor form came the loss of form by Isco and the attacking midfielder has now started only once under new manager Santiago Solari.

He was part of the Real setup that lost 3-0 to CSKA Moscow in the Champions League and was booed by the home fans in the dying moments of the game. According to the Sun, Chelsea are ready to make an offer of £70m for him in January and the player a four-and-a-half-year contract worth £250,000 per week.

If he agrees to leave Spain in the winter transfer window, it may act as a signal that Eden Hazard may be heading the opposite direction next summer after stalling on a new deal this year.
