Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has made attempts to leave the club – by word though, as he insists he will never force his way out of Stamford Bridge out of respect for his employers- and it is from evidence like this that the Blues will make sure he remains their player.
The Belgium international has been one of the most important players in the squad since he joined from Lille in the summer of 2012. His growing confidence on the ball and ability to find his teammates in dangerous positions make him the right player for any coach in attacking spaces. According to Opta on Twitter, the 27-year old has created more goalscoring chances, 101, than any other player in the Premier League in the calendar year of 2018, and second to him is Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen with 78.
