Christian Pulisic has expressed delight following the completion of the deal to move to Premier League giants Chelsea.
The United States of America international has been one of the brightest prospects in the Bundesliga for a couple of seasons now and continued to attract top clubs with his performances this term. It has not been an electrifying season for him though with his three goals in 11 appearances in all competitions. Injuries have not been kind to him too. missing four games with muscular problems.
Chelsea are in need of reinforcement upfront and will hope the American lights up Stamford Bridge upon arrival at the club in the summer.
The forward can play anywhere in the attacking line, either as a left or right winger and sometimes as a second striker. With Willian and Pedro struggling at times to reach the high expectations at the club this season, perhaps Pulisic will be the man Sarri has been screaming for.
Pulisic has nine goals in 23 games for the USA, and says he looks forward to contributing to Chelsea’s ambitions next season.
