Chelsea have begun the January transfer window strongly after completing negotiations for Borussia Dortmund forward Christian Pulisic, but another major target might slip out of their hands if they do not increase the offer on the table.
Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco has emerged top target for the Blues who desperately want more creative options in their squad and particularly after the midfielder has grown frustrated by lack of minutes at Santiago Bernabeu since Santiago Solari took charge.
With the Blues said to have offered the player £250,000 per week to join them after this season, the player reportedly has other ideas. The Sun now reports that the Spain international wants more from his suitors and prefer they pay more for his services.
Chelsea now have to increase the offer and make him their highest-paid player along with N’Golo Kante who is on a £300,000-per-week deal. Manchester City are waiting on the wings to jump in for him should negotiations with Chelsea fall through.
