Cesar Azpilicueta equalised for Chelsea late in the game against Cardiff City – but he was clearly in an offside position.
The on-field captain stepped up to the mark when his team needed him the most and found the back of the net – which we’re incredibly thankful for.
It’s further evidence of the need for VAR in the Premier League, however. Cardiff City deserve to win today, and they’ve been absolutely robbed.
That won’t bother Maurizio Sarri and his Chelsea team, though, who need all the points they can get in their efforts to get back into the top four.
