Chelsea are under the threat of being unable to sign a single player in the coming transfer windows, should their appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport be rejected according to Metro Sport.
They are however still working on their plans to rebuild their squad next summer with some key members of the team certain to quit. Chief among them is Eden Hazard. The Belgium captain is struggling to find the motivation to remain at Chelsea, the club he has served since the summer of 2012.

His current deal ends in 2020 but has expressed his desire to play at the Santiago Bernabeu and AS reports that he will try to move to Real Madrid after the end of this season. Should that materialize, the Blues want to bring back former Liverpool attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho to the Premier League for £142 million.
But the biggest hindrance to the move is the FIFA ban on the club for breaching transfer rules governing signing youth players. Should their appeal be refuted, Chelsea will find it difficult to land their man.
