Bundesliga giants ready to make mega bid for another Chelsea youngster next summer

The summer transfer window will be an important one for Chelsea’s top brass, hoping to overturn the FIFA ban and also looking to keep their best players at the club.

Some of those are not first team players already, but they certainly are in the Blues’ good books and that includes Tammy Abraham, who is currently on loan at Aston Villa. The young striker has been impressive each time he has spent time outside of Chelsea on loan, and his stint at Villa has been no different.

Abraham has scored 22 goals in 32 appearances for Villa and is looking a great deal for the Claret and Blue. Those star performances have attracted interest from the Bundesliga as Football Insider reports that RB Leipzig want to make a move for him after this season to replace Bayern Munich bound Timo Werner.

The 21-year old is considered a hot prospect at Stamford Bridge and the Blues may be unwilling to discuss a deal for him unless the fee is right and also if the transfer ban is overturned, according to the report.

Another option for Chelsea is to return Abraham to the club as Sarri struggles to get the best out of Gonzalo Higuain and Olivier Giroud.
