“They are wrong” – Eden Hazard gives biggest hint he will not leave for Real Madrid despite West Ham fans’ taunts

Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard was on a different level on Monday night when the Blues took on West Ham United in a Premier League encounter.

At Stamford Bridge, the Belgium international was really in the mood to produce something magical and he did. A goal typically seen of Lionel Messi or Diego Maradona was produced in front of the packed crowd at the Bridge, leaving fans open-mouthed.

Hazard glided past four West Ham players greasily before slotting the ball inside the post to open the scoring in the game. His work ethic was positive and his general attitude exuded a zeal to do more and carry his team along. Late in the game, Hazard scored his second of the match to cap a brilliant performance. Sometime during the game though, Hammers fans were heard chanting ‘He’s off to Madrid’ to remind Chelsea fans that their star attacker may not be with them by next summer.

Hazard instead has a response many Chelsea fans will be proud off and happy to hear him say:

“They are wrong. For now I am just focusing on Chelsea until the end of the season. I want to finish top four and Europa League, we still have a lot to do and then we will see.

We are in good momentum. We have won three in a row. For the mentality, it is good to keep going. Top four and the Europa League is our target so we need to do well in both but we can do it.”
