Close your eyes and imagine, you’re walking down Fulham Road, and Antonio Rudiger appears.
You’d pinch yourself, thinking you were dreaming, but he’s actually there, in the flesh.
That’s exactly what happened last night after Chelsea’s win over Slavia Prague.
Rudiger, who missed the game through injury, walked casually down the street.
Of course, the German was mobbed by fans, but he appeared content, posing for selfies.
Have a look at the video. Footage like this is a rarity in the modern game.

Rudiger being so accepting and understanding of the excitable supporters says it all.
We could see from day one that he just ‘gets it’. He understands what it is to be Chelsea.
Had he been involved, there’s little chance a selfie opportunity would have occurred.
However, for the German to be spending a rare game off in this manner is just excellent.
Credit to you, Antonio, you’re quite the geezer.
