Chelsea fans will be forgiven for thinking that they will still have one of their most prized assets in their team next season given the signs springing up from around the club.
Callum Hudson-Odoi’s future at Stamford Bridge has been hanging by a thread for a while after Bayern Munich made their intentions clear in January, submitting four bids for the teen star, all rejected by the Blues via Sky Sports. Chelsea are unwilling to release the 18-year old turning heads in Europe with his brilliant cameos in the first team.

He had to wait until March to make start in the Premier League. In his meantime, he made appearances in the Europa League and domestic cup competitions, scoring five goals in the process. He has ousted Willian and Pedro from Maurizio Sarri preferred starting line up in Premier League in recent weeks but his season has been cut short by the injury to his Achilles tendon he picked up in the 2-2 draw with Brighton on Monday.
Reacting to news that he will miss the rest of the season, Hudson-Odoi says he hopes to come back stronger.

His words are reassuring enough for Chelsea fans to think that he will remain at the club and fight for a place again next season.
