Carlo Ancelotti is considered one of the greatest managers in Chelsea’s history. Maurizio Sarri… not so much, at least not yet.
Sarri has divided Chelsea fans for much of the campaign. There’s those of us that understand that his style of play takes time to implement, and the others who have less patience.
Chelsea fans who recognise the good work that Ancelotti did, with significantly a better squad, ought to consider how Sarri would have performed with the same group of players.
There is evidence to suggest that Sarri could do better with them, considering he did significantly better with this Napoli team than Ancelotti is managing currently.
The stats are there to prove it…

Ancelotti and Sarri are two brilliant managers which cannot be compared due to the former’s vast career at the top of the game. Sarri has not had a sufficient opportunity to match his achievements.

However, you cannot discredit Sarri’s achievements at Napoli when one of our best ever is struggling with virtually the same team. Give him time, and hopefully we’ll reap the same rewards Napoli did.
