Some Chelsea fans on Twitter have turned on Gonzalo Higuain after the Argentine’s poor performance against Manchester United this afternoon.
Higuain has proven to be pretty underwhelming since his arrival in January. We thought we were signing one of the best strikers of his generation, but he’s a shell of the player he used to be.
When he needed him to step up to the mark at Old Trafford today and help us in our efforts to get back into the Champions League, all he managed to achieve was to be caught offside continually.

Higuain also had a great opportunity to win the game for us late in the game, having beaten the offside trap, but was only able to direct his effort straight at Man United goalkeeper David De Gea.
These Chelsea fans are not happy at all. They’ve turned on the striker. Here’s how some of them took to Twitter to tear into the Argentina hitman, who will now be ruing his missed opportunity.
