Chelsea join chase for seven-goal star in Premier League

Chelsea have reportedly joined the race to sign Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser with the player set to quit his career at the Vitality Stadium.

The forward has been a true standout for Bournemouth this season, scoring seven goals and setting up 13 more for his teammates under Eddie Howe and he now constantly attracts interest from top clubs in the top flight. Arsenal were initially rumored to be interested in the Scotland international. The Gunners are said to want Fraser to replace the struggling Denis Suarez. Unai Emery desperately wants to beef up his squad ahead of next season and sees Fraser’s directness in attack as a fine weapon he can unleash on the league.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror claim Chelsea also want to rival their London rivals for the talented 25-year old and are ready to splash the cash for him if permitted by FIFA to complete transfers.

Fraser is reported by the paper to want out of Bournemouth next summer, as he has only a year left to run on his current deal. That could mean a lot of money for him – and a lot of money saved for Chelsea in transfer fees.
