There were several Chelsea players who successfully produced a performance on Thursday night – but none better than Jorginho.
Jorginho, like the man he arrived with Maurizio Sarri, hasn’t had too many fans within the Chelsea fanbase this term.
The Italian has come under intense scrutiny, particularly after our heavy defeats to Bournemouth and Manchester City.
He earned himself a fair few fans with his combative and hard-working performance against Eintracht Frankfurt, however…
Jorginho really impacting the game right now. But it’s seems like 50% of the Chelsea fanbase doesn’t want to hear that.

It’s easy to see why, too. Much of the criticism of Jorginho has stemmed from him being too flimsy to play at the heart of our midfield.
He proved last night that he can be as sturdy as they come.
Jorginho has such an influence from deep in midfield that, if he’s on song, so are the team. That point was proven in Frankfurt last night.
We hope to see him kick on from here and silence his critics once and for all. If he continues to play how he has recently, it won’t take him long!
