Chelsea ought to be wary of the Frankfurt supporters ahead of their trip to Stamford Bridge – they showed their destructive side on Thursday night.
Not only were the Eintracht faithful some of the most vocal and passionate we have encountered in recent years, they also showed that they have little respect for their own stadium!
Pictures of the German fans holding their own seats aloft did the rounds on Twitter following the game. They lifted them in the air as though they were performing an ancient ceremony.
Eintracht Frankfurt fans have created their own standing section for tonight's #UEL game against Chelsea by removing the seats.
That's one way to do it. 😳 pic.twitter.com/ghBY5FipUZ

If they’re prepared to tear the seats out of their own stadium, we dread to think what they might do to the Bridge when they visit next week.
We’ve had some hostile away crowds at the Bridge in recent years, but the Eintracht bunch may well just top the list if they replicate these kind of actions in our home.
It’s hard to imagine them wiping their feet before coming in. There’s going to be quite the clean-up operation on the Friday morning.
