“I don’t want them” – Arsenal star hoping to avoid Chelsea in Europa League, here’s why

Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed he doesn’t want to face Chelsea in the Europa League final – we’ve got them running scared!

Aubameyang is one of the most prolific centre-forwards on the planet. You’d think that there was no team he didn’t feel confident facing, no defence that wouldn’t leave him licking his lips.

That’s not taking one crucial factor into consideration, though, he signed for Arsenal.

The Gunners are renown for being mentally flimsy and capitulating at the first sign of pressure – they share those traits with their North London counterparts.

Aubameyang appears to have been influenced by the shirt he dons, because in these quotes from the Metro he sounds as though he’s scared of Chelsea:

“No, I don’t want them. We know they are a great team but hopefully first we will go to the final and then I prefer to play Frankfurt, because we have already played against Chelsea.”

“I know Frankfurt are really good and if we both go through to the final it will be a hard one.”

Of course, it’s because he’s already played against us!

Frankfurt are strong, but they don’t compare to Chelsea. Aubameyang is frightened that Arsenal would have their pants pulled down by their rivals on the big stage.

Let’s hope it happens.
