According to a report published by the Express, there’s a (rather strange) hidden meaning behind the design of Chelsea’s home kit for next season.
The Blues are set to debut the new design against Watford on Sunday afternoon, which won’t be good news for those in attendance who aren’t a fan.
It’s divided opinion due to the abstract design which is plastered across the front of the shirt. What do you think of it?

If you love it or loathe it will mean little to the club, but this information from the Express becoming public may well leave them red-faced.
It’s claimed that the design was supposed to be a nod to Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea expecting to be playing at Wembley next season while our stadium was redeveloped.
However, we’re going nowhere, the plans were put on hold.
Chelsea have now got to play an entire season in a kit which is built on an idea which is now irrelevant. That’s just Chelsea for you!
