Chelsea’s stance on Maurizio Sarri has been revealed in a report by the Telegraph, and it looks as though it may well take him to Turin.
As Juventus push to get their man, and Maurizio Sarri remains non-commital to the Chelsea job, it looks like it could be only a matter of time.
The only thing that could keep Sarri from walking out the door is Chelsea strengthening their stance and preventing his exit.
However, it doesn’t look as though they have any intentions to do so, with the Telegraph claiming that they will not stand in his way.
That leaves Juventus with the option of paying what the Telegraph report to be £5M in compensation if they really want to get him signed and sealed.
While it leaves Chelsea in a difficult position, anyone who doesn’t want to be at this football club doesn’t deserve to stay here. We’re right to let him leave.
