Chelsea right-back Reece James could be fit to play by the end of July, according to information provided by @CarefreeYouth on Twitter.
James suffered a seemingly serious ankle injury while on international duty, joining Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ruben Loftus-Cheek on the injury table.
Chelsea fans were excited to see James in action this pre-season after his mightily impressive loan spell with Wigan Athletic last time around.
His ankle injury threatened to rule him out of our entire pre-season campaign and the start of the new season, but it doesn’t look to be that serious.
@CarefreeYouth believes that James could return by the end of July, with the damage done not serious enough to require surgery to repair it.

This is excellent news both for him and us. It could also allow us to cash in on Davide Zappacosta without the fear of being left short at right-back.
We eagerly await the day we see James in a Chelsea shirt next.
