Some Chelsea fans on Twitter have shared their reactions to news that David Luiz has put pen to paper on a two-year contract with Arsenal – and as you may expect – they’re not best pleased.
Luiz only signed a two-year extension with Chelsea at the tail end of the season, which appeared to be a show of his commitment to the cause at Stamford Bridge, playing for a club which he loved.
However, whatever special place we had in Luiz’s heart appears to be a thing of the past, with Arsenal confirming that he had decided to leave us on Deadline Day and move to the Emirates.
Chelsea fans aren’t best impressed, which comes as no surprise. We gave him everything and can’t help but feel like he’s thrown it back in our face – and for what? A move to Arsenal?
