Frank Lampard has several injuries to content with ahead of our season opening game against Manchester United this afternoon, according to Physio Room‘s injury table.
Here’s everything you need to know…
Ruben Loftus-Cheek:Â Loftus-Cheek is definitely out of today’s contest as he continues to recover from the achilles rupture he suffered at the tail end of last season.
Callum Hudson-Odoi:Â While Hudson-Odoi’s return to action is now on the horizon, Physio Room believe that we could have to wait another month to see him feature under Lampard.
Antonio Rudiger:Â Physio Room rule Rudiger out of today’s game, but note that he could be fit and available later this month, which is hugely encouraging for us.
Willian:Â According to the injury table, Willian has a 25% chance of featuring at Old Trafford. He faces a late fitness test, though the chances of him starting the game are essentially non-existent.
N’Golo Kante:Â Physio Room fancy Kante’s chances of being back in time for this one. He has a 75% chance of being involved, which is a huge boost for Chelsea’s chances of winning this game.
Reece James:Â James is another who should be back relatively soon, but not this afternoon. Physio Room rule the youngster out, which means Cesar Azpilicueta will start on the right-side of defence.
Plenty for Frank to think about…
