Jose Mourinho rules Chelsea out of title race before a ball has been kicked

Jose Mourinho has claimed that Manchester City’s B team has a better chance of winning the Premier League this season than his former side Chelsea, report Standard Sport.

Mourinho knows better than any manager in the Premier League what it takes to win the title, with ‘The Special One’ achieving it three times across two respective stints in charge of Chelsea.

A man who played a starring role in two of those wins, Frank Lampard, is now holding the reins at Stamford Bridge, but Mourinho isn’t convinced that a title push is on the cards.

Mourinho is quoted by Standard Sport giving his answer when asked who he believed could go all the way in the Premier League this season and be crowned champions come May:

“Four. Man City, Tottenham, Liverpool, and then Man City B team.”

We thought that Mourinho was supposed to be defending Chelsea on TV, as per his own promises, but instead he’s ruling us out of a title challenge before a ball has even been kicked.

Not impressed, Jose!
