Chelsea predicted XI v Sheffield United: Tammy Abraham to get first home start

Chelsea host Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge this afternoon as Frank Lampard looks to bag his second consecutive win as manager of the Blues.

Ahead of this afternoon’s contest, we’ve had a go at predicting how Chelsea might lineup for the game.

Kepa Arrizabalaga will be starting between the sticks, with Cesar Azpilicueta‘s spot at right-back untouchable until the return of Reece James.

Antonio Rudiger played 90 minutes for our U23 side last night, which all but confirms that Andreas Christensen and Kurt Zouma will start.

Emerson Palmieri has been one of our best performers this season so far. Marcos Alonso has no chance of forcing his way back into the side.

In the absence of N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho are more than likely to make up the base of our midfield for today’s game.

Willian could be handed his first start of the season, with Pedro out injured. Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic will also start from the beginning.

Lampard will not want to derail the form of Tammy Abraham, who netted twice at Norwich. He’ll start again at Stamford Bridge today.

What do you think, Blues?
