Emerson Palmieri has received much adulation from the Chelsea fan base since the start of the season, and there’s good reason for it, too.
Oftentimes we can find ourselves guilty of overrating player, allowing our bias towards all things Chelsea to skew our opinions of them.
Not with Emerson, though. He is the real deal, and the stats are there to prove it.
Have a look at this graph shared by StatsBomb. It shows exactly how much of a monster the Italy international has been under Frank Lampard.
Emerson, Chelsea 2019-20.
(Because Chelsea fans have been requesting this constantly for about a week and we want them to stop doing them for a bit.)
As was suggested before he moved – he's real good. pic.twitter.com/WFKJFKL3Lv

Have endured so much frustration with Marcos Alonso at left-back, it’s excellent that we have (hopefully) found a long-term solution in that position.
Out of all of the ‘old guard’ who departed in recent seasons, Ashley Cole has proven to be one of the most difficult to replace.
We’re quietly confident that we may have successfully done so with the acquisition of Emerson.
