Thomas Tuchel has just taken his press conference ahead of the game against Wolves on Sunday, and despite the disappointment of last night’s result, the manager did have some good news.
Kai Havertz wasn’t included in the squad last night because he felt unwell, and while it was assumed he had a positive coronavirus test like 3 of his teammates, the club weren’t able to conform that with a PCR in time.
Tuchel says there are no more positive Covid results after yesterday's four positives: "We are happy Kai has a negative results and is back in training but the lottery starts again tomorrow." #CFC

As it turns out, Havertz has tested negative, as Tuchel explained today, and was able to train with the team this morning.
That means he’s available for Sunday game against Wolves, a welcome attacking option for the German coach’s stuttering team.
Still, it’s questionable what shape he will be in, as he did feel ill enough yesterday to think he had the virus. And as his manager says – the lottery starts all over again tomorrow with the next round of tests.
