It’s been a while since we have seen Chelsea linked with Declan Rice, but he was always the main transfer rumour for The Blues for sometime under Frank Lampard and again under Thomas Tuchel.
It appears that both managers are keen admirers of the England international, and it is Chelsea’s name being mentioned with him once again.

Football London understands that Chelsea are expected to make a move to sign the West Ham midfielder this summer, in a report from yesterday.
Personally I think a lot depends on where West Ham finish in the league this season and whether they are willing to drop their asking price for 22-year old, who clearly wants to be at a club who are seriously competing for silverware.
As it stands they have been pricing Chelsea out of a move and I still can’t see him putting in an official transfer request to be honest.
What part of ‘Declan Rice is not for sale’ do you not understand? West Ham have no interest in selling him, and the boy himself has absolutely no interest in Chelsea. Should the day ever come that he does leave, it would be for a club with tradition and standards. Chelsea fail on both counts.
Well you certainly got that right. While we are talking about Rice did you notice the sheer delight when West Ham beat the club seriously competing for silverware. With the amount of money theyve spent -which given to any club-so they should be. But lets see how they get on.
