“Romelu can be stubborn” – Lukaku must ‘accept he made a mistake and say sorry’

The Romelu Lukaku situation looks like it is calming down after clear the air talks between him, Thomas Tuchel, and the club yesterday.

At least that is what they are all trying to do now for the benefit of all parties.

It would be amazing if you guys subscribed for my project over at Si & Dan Talk Chelsea, where we are putting out so much Chelsea content including DAILY Newsletters, exclusive news, breaking news, Podcasts, interviews, inside information, and bringing in some massive guests!

It’s the only direction they can now take, he’s a £100m signing with a long contract, the best way forward is to clear the air and move on.

Lukaku has been very silly, but if the latest report from The Telegraph is to be believed, he has finally showed some remorse for what he has said and has regrets.

They claim the talks were positive and now the striker is hoping for a place back in Tuchel’s squad moving forward.

It’s all that can happen now to be honest, a £100m striker is hardly going to rot in the U23s and to be honest if he comes out and apologises in public, which is what I have personally heard he will be doing today, then we all just have to move on I guess for the good of Chelsea and our results.

A source told The Telegraph: “Romelu can be stubborn, but he’s intelligent and he’s a really good guy. This is what has made this so surprising, but now he’s got to accept he made a mistake and say sorry to everybody.”

  1. It’s really disturbing issue with this Lukaku issue. And Tuchel has done the right thing by dropping him from the squad for Liverpool encounter. I hope the situation shall be normalized after their talk. I hope Lukaku will apologize for the embarrassement caused. He should be reinstated to the squad after the useful talk.
