Some players use these cup games to play their way into the team, but some play their way out.

Malang Sarr, who has previously had some pretty impressive cameos, may have done just that tonight. He was somewhat at fault for Luton’s opening goal as he lost his man at a corner, and he’s definitely at fault this time as he tried to play the offside trap but ended up just stepping out of the way of the onrushing Luton striker Harry Cornick, who slotted past Kepa.
