We’ve just written about Lazio’s interest in Emerson Palmieri, but he’s not the only Blue mentioned in the Laziali’s report on the Serie A side’s transfer targets for this summer.
Callum Hudson-Odoi made his breakthrough at Chelsea with Maurizio Sarri in charge, and the coach is apparently now keen on bringing CHO to work with him again.
This is likely to be a tough summer for Callum. He’s playing fairly regularly for Chelsea, but it’s increasingly clear he’s never going to be a star for us, and the list of players ahead of him in the list for minutes in the front 3 is only likely to grow.
Should he cut his losses and head out on a Serie A adventure? Or keep grinding away at Chelsea looking for the run of form that will finally secure him as a permanent fixture in the team? It will be a summer of tough decisions.
