Now that Chelsea are up for sale, and face an entirely uncertain future, we’re expecting tons of silly rumour about our best players leaving and going elsewhere.
We knew it was coming – we just didn’t think it would happen so soon. Last night, there were suggestions from top Man City blogs that the club want to sign Reece James.
Now Chelsea won’t be as rich as they were under Roman, that’s for sure. But we’re still going to be bought by someone with enough money to offer a player as good as James a solid contract. And given he’s a home grown boy who is as beloved by the fans as anyone, would he really want to go anyway?
#ManCity have identified Chelsea's Reece James as a long-term replacement for Kyle Walker.

Now do these blogs believe this? Or do they just want the hits from outraged Chelsea fans? We’re not sure. But we really hope new ownership is found soon so we can stop thinking about this silliness.

Massive superstar? Mind the gap.
City must go to hell
