Antonio Rudiger has 4 year deal with Juventus lined up

Last night we had the deadline for bids for Chelsea, and later today we have an FA Cup game. So it’s a busy weekend all round.

But that won’t stop us squeezing some transfer news in between the off-field news.

Antonio Rudiger has been the subject of endless rumours about his future as he’s come to the end of his contract, but it’s so far been focused on Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, before recently trending towards him staying at Chelsea – until sanctions were applied to Roman Abramovich.

We haven’t heard much about Juventus in the race so far, but it’s a move that makes sense given Rudiger’s previous successful spell in Italy, plus Juventus’ love of a free transfer.

The Daily Mail report that he’s agreed a 4 year deal worth £5.4m, although we would be sceptical of anything we hear while Chelsea’s future is so up in the air.
