The sale of Chelsea is moving at lightning speed now that the bids are in, and no sooner have we updated on one report then another comes out of nowhere.
Ben Jacobs has just posted a thread on Twitter with a lot of very strong information about how things are going. The headline is that the bids will be announced this week – it could be as early as today, but will be no later than Thursday lunchtime (late evening in the UK). There will be 4 of them chosen to go forward.
Raine Group will announce Chelsea’s preferred bidders this week. Suitors could find out as early as today but no later than Thursday lunch. Bruce Buck has had input and there is expected to be a shortlist of four. Told there were less than 10 ‘serious’ bids.

There were fewer than ten “serious” offers in the end (which is in line with what we heard from elsewhere, and Jacobs pushes the Ricketts family consortium’s credentials as they have a good relationship with the bank organising the sale, and did due diligence on Chelsea when they tried to buy the club before.
Whatever happens, we won’t have to wait long to find out, and it feels like with the speed with which things are moving that we’re unlikely to reach that Thursday deadline.

that is ok,good news for us fans and i just wish the process to move on well too
