Reece James names the one thing he needs to work on for next season

It’s been a season of ups and downs at Chelsea this season and now it’s over, it’s time for the players to reflect and have a look at what they want to do better next season.

Thomas Tuchel and his players lifted two trophies this season despite missing out on the two domestic finals they got to and in the end, having a few disappointing results and performances in the league in the latter end of the season.

Seven alternative defensive midfielders to Rice and Tchouameni that Chelsea may look at.

But there has been a lot of things going on at the club and a lot of things working against them all, namely the ownership takeover issues and the sanctions that came with it.

But also, there was injuries to two key players Ben Chilwell and Reece James. Chilwell missed around eight months in the end, and we were even without James for about three of those.

That is the one thing that James says he needs to work on for next season, getting less injuries.

“I don’t really want to be out for people to say that he’s missed,” James said as reported by The Daily Mail. “I want to be playing every game I can and this season has probably been my worst season for injuries.

“I’ve picked up more than I ever have before. That’s something I need to work on going into the new season.  I’m sure there are a few things I can adapt or change going into the new season, to try and change and make sure I don’t reoccur the same injuries.”
