We wrote up the story earlier that Romelu Lukaku had sacked his agent and appointed a lawyer to negotiate with Inter Milan about a return there.
It’s all based on whispers in Italy, and now the Gazzetta have written a story explaining that the move could only happen on loan – and even then, only if Chelsea paid half his wages – because of the financial issues that forced Inter to sell the striker in the first place.
Romelu Lukaku’s return to Inter could only be achieved on loan and if he halves his salary, but even then there’s a very small chance of the move happening.

All this does is point out just how impossible the whole operation would be. As poor as Lukaku was this season, he wasn’t so bad that paying half his wages to play for someone else – while we spending tens of millions to replace him – is a good idea.
He will get another chance to do better, and the team will have another season (at least) to try and get the best out of him.

Remember, you can’t keep unhappy player in team.
The Manager should be careful so he doesn’t drag other players with.
We need to see Eden Hazard in blue alongside Romelu. Please just listen to this. Eden and Romelu combination
