We’re apparently nosing around Lautaro Martinez, Lukaku’s strike partner at Inter before he came to Chelsea. The pair formed a deadly partnership, and it’s easy to see why senior figures at Chelsea might think that buying him would unlock Lukaku’s best form.
Would this be a brilliant way to get the best out of our investment, or would this just be a classic example of the “sunk cost fallacy”?
Buying Martinez will be great for the club as he it will unlock the best of Lukaku. We paid a lot of money for him to be sitting on the bench. This false nine is not giving us enough goals. It is so easy to loose 2 point by drawing and even three for loosing.
