Chelsea star’s problems get personal as he “no longer wants anything to do with Tuchel”

Romelu Lukaku’s problems at Chelsea go deeper than the team’s structure it seems.

Tactically, there’s no question he was a poor fit last season. He didn’t seem to want to adapt to the team, and the team didn’t seem to want to adapt to him.

But according to quotes from Italy translated by SportWitness, things are getting personal.

They claim that the striker “no longer wants anything to do with Thomas Tuchel,” and that “the same goes for the German manager.”

If that’s true, and both parties are finished with each other personally as well as in terms of the football pitch, we may well see the most unlikely and financially complex of deals put together to get the former Inter Man back to Serie A.

His comments about Tuchel over Christmas were pretty tame in reality – but we can imagine a world where they created a rift that has yet to be fixed.

  1. Romelu lukaku is 100% right he doesn’t deserve this shit Romelu is a top top player

  2. Romelu was not professional on his “secret” interview conduct, that would upset any coach, but for failing to move on there is no excuse, coach Tuchel was supposed to. There was no reason whatsoever for denying him game time, especially given that he’s still there season’s TGS, that too having played less often than his contenders. I feel that if the right attitude is adopted Lukaku can still leave up to 97M

  4. Gone are the days when coaches are sacked because of players. Tuchel is more relevant to Chelsea that Lukaku. We won the champions league without him. A player that is not ready to adapt to his coach pattern of play is not a good player.

  5. Romelu Lukaku o como yo le digo Roble Tronkaku es lento y pesado, necesitamos un delantero ágil y con potencia y ese es A. Broja tengo fe en él

  6. Lies have short legs

I think Thomas Tuchel just flew on Lampard’s momentum & then went flat like a tired dog.

The problem at Chelsea is Thomas Tuchel. He has to build the team around the skills on the field.

There was no need to buy Lukaku if he is not allowed to accelerate with the ball from the mid or allowed to drop in the mid.

Lukaka is not Giroud or Mandzukic you can get the most while stationary.

Lukaka needs movement & he has to be allowed to do that.

He has proved it at Everton & at Inter. With a sound manager Lukaku can go up to 30 goals in the EPL.

Tuchel is the worst manager for Chelsea. He is tired with no ambition.
