The wheels are in motion in Chelsea’s chase of Jules Kounde.
The Blues had a lot of the hard work done last summer, only to disagree with Sevilla over the price of the deal.
This time around the Spanish side are going to be easier to negotiate with, and they already seem to be laying the groundwork for the departure of their central defender.
Sevilla have advanced their negotiations with Strasbourg for the signing of defender Alexander Djiku, which pushes Jules Kounde closer to signing for #Chelsea.

Fan sites in Spain note the rumours that their club is close to signing Alexander Dijku from Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.
He likely won’t be the only new arrival at the Roman Pizjuan – Diego Carlos has left to join Aston Villa already, so there’s sure to be further incomings there.
Chelsea will feel that this takes them a step closer to a deal finally completed a year after it was first suggested. They have plenty of other areas to address in their team, and will want this wrapped up quickly.
