Saul Niguez’s time at Chelsea is over, and the midfielder posted a message on his Instagram today to say goodbye.
It’s part apology, part explanation, part farewell, and it all feels a bit unnecessary – although it’s very sweet of him to do so.
We never had any hard feelings towards Saul himself – he did his best, but it was a nonsensical signing by those who made it, and one that will really cost us looking back at the other players we could have had.
